Happy Birthday to Wilbert Hart of The Delfonics
October 19: Wilbert Hart turns 63 today. Wilbert & older brother, William Hart, were apart of the original roster that formed the Delfonics.
The Delfonics were a very strong group for the Philly Soul era. The group was very popular in the late 1960s & early 1970s. Many will remember the hits such as “La-La (Means I Love You)”, “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time)”, and “Ready or Not Here I Come”.
The Delfonices music has been sampled by some of hip-hop’s most known artists like; The Fugees, The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Boyz II Men, Missy Elliott and DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince
